Sigh.
Exhibit A: the interior of the Vauxhall Crossland X.
Spot the error in this picture.
Seriously GM, it’s a blatant, fucking obvious mistake, and you make it in every damn press picture.
EDIT: Added hint. In bold.

Transmission? Idk

It’s a Vauxhall, so here is the proper orientation.
Edit: see how the steering wheel is now on the right side.

The gross plastic dash or the horrible parking brake handle?

To few cup holders?

Nope. Something even more obvious. Svend and pip will notice it immediately.

steering wheel is on the correct side?
![]() 01/17/2017 at 20:14 |

Well, it’s incorrect for them. Just as much cringe as looking at the Skyline GT-R in TDU .

Much better.

The dashboard kind of looks like Sid the Sloth, where the passenger air vent is the eye and the place where the shifter is is the mouth.

This kind of error is simply Opelling.

wrong transmission :p
At least it has a real handbrake tho

I prefer to not think of it as an ‘error’ so much, as one of those endearing ways that us Americans have a habit of subtly hinting at our superiority. Would like to see a full res version of the pic to confirm that the speedo is in MPH.
;-)

Having trouble seeing the emblem on the horn button but it doesn’t look like the chicken or tortoise or whatever is the Vauxhall symbol?
Also — maybe not grievous, just (what we’d call it in these parts) dumb — the climate control is powered up but the tacho says engine not running

GM Europe brands their cars 3 ways:
Griffin -> Vauxhall
Lightning Bolt -> Opel
Lion -> Holden
If it’s not a lightning bolt, it’s supposed to be RHD.
As for the A/C running and engine is 0 RPM, you press the Start/Stop button without pressing the brake or put the key in the ON position. Only thing missing is the CEL and other warning lights.

Mouse over and click that Magnifying Glass...
As for MPH... hate to burst your bubble but that sounds more like Americans subtly reminding themselves they are British deep down.

I’ll be derned, I figured they used KPH in England as well.

km/h.

Nope, that would be foreign and evil and smacks of Johnny Foreigner.
Slightly over half of them decided recently that they want to keep Johnny Foreigner out.

Mind you, there are rhd Opels.
Now, what kind of fuel does that one use?

GM Europe is Opel & Vauxhall only
Holden is for Australia/NZ only.
![]() 01/18/2017 at 08:20 |

Yeah, but a lot of your cars are rebadged Opels produced in AU. Though that is changing a lot are now rebadged Daewoos.

Doesn’t sound like they announced powertrain options yet, but I would assume whatever the Astra gets it’ll have it too.

Yes, but to answer my question: the 5,000 rpm red line is a clue. It’s a diesel..

OK I thought you were talking about the Crossland...
